How this dashboard calculates book value and how to interpret the figures
How Trail Book Value is Calculated

The primary valuation method uses trailing 12-month trail income × a multiple. The default multiple is 4.0× (premium quality book). The industry average is 2.99× (TrailBlazer FY2025 national benchmark).

The grade-weighted method applies different multiples based on loan age: A-grade (4+ yrs) = 3.0×, B-grade (2–4 yrs) = 2.5×, C-grade (1–2 yrs) = 2.0×, D-grade (<1 yr) = 1.5×. This is more accurate for mixed-age books.
